
April 11, 23, 26 and Mai 3rd at Volksoper Wien

After debuting the role of Alberich in the very successful tour of Rheingold with Kent Nagano and the Dresdner Festspielorchester, Daniel will now appear for the first time as Alberich in Siegfried.
The Wagner Cycles – a project of the Dresdner Musikfestspiele under the artistic directorship of Jan Vogler and Kent Nagano can be seen in Prague (01.04.), Paris (04.04.), Cologne (10.4.) and Dresden (14.6.)

Daniel shows his multifaceted repertoire again this season at the Volksoper Wien.
Apart from signature roles as Papageno in the Zauberflöte, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, he will appear on the stage of Volksoper Wien in Carmen as Escamillo, Kaiser in KaiserRequiem (a creation by Omer Meir Wellber, combining the two masterpieces Kaiser von Atlantis and Mozart Requiem), Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro and will add in Edwin (Csardasfürstin) a new exciting role to his portfolio.

Daniel is singing again Alberich in Wagners Rheingold, touring venues are Köln, Ravello and Luzern. Kent Nagano is conducting, Concerto Köln and Dresdner Festspielorchester playing. This historically informed interpretation will also be recorded in a high-quality studio production. Stay tuned!

Daniel will sing the baritone part in Beethovens 9th Symphony with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and Zürcher Sing-Akademie, conducted by Jonathan Nott on april 19th and 20th at the Victoria Hall in Geneva and April 21st at the Rosey Concert Hall in Rolle.

Daniel is singing Gustav Mahlers „Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen“, Wolfgang Dörner is conducting the Orchestre Pasdeloup!

Under the musical direction of Ton Koopman, Daniel sings the bass part in Bachs St. John’ s Passion on April 2nd in the basilica in Laren (NL) and on April 7th in the Isarphilharmonie in Munich.
